What is the best way to plant my pouches?

To our knowledge, all growers producing Al's Flower Pouch are planting manually. For greatest efficiency, use a two-handed approach: one hand to poke through each slit, and the other to pinch and plant the cutting into the hole. See how it's done in this video:

What is the best way to water my pouches?

Accepted Answer

Because of their vertical design, Al's Flower Pouches require thorough watering to ensure plugs at the bottom of the pouch are evenly watered. A repeat watering is always a good idea.
 
Al's Flower Pouch works with automated irrigation systems such as a dripper system. For best results and optimal water saturation to all root zones, we recommend a 10-minute slow drip twice per day, at 7 am and 7 pm. 
 
We also highly recommend that growers use the Thirst Quencher watering spout to help evenly distribute water down to the bottom of the pouch. For best results, Thirst Quenchers should be inserted into pouches after filling and prior to planting. My flowers are always fuller at the top than the bottom. What should I do?

Even water and fertilizer distribution are key for uniform growth. We recommend using the Thirst Quencher (https://www.amahort.com/shop/containers/als-flower-pouch/thirst-quencher/)watering spout to ensure water and water-soluble fertilizer makes it all the way to the bottom of the pouch and reaches all root zones. A repeat watering within minutes may be necessary to ensure roots are well watered, top to bottom. See above for our recommendations on watering best practices.

How should I ship Al's Flower Pouch?

The best way to ship your pouches is to lay them flat in rows on a cart. The pouches are sized to fit the same footprint as standard 10x20 flats, so some growers lay them into flats before placing on carts. Do not stack planted pouches on top of one another. Remember to thoroughly water your pouches before shipping out.
